Who We Are

Allen’s Orchard has been a family-owned working apple farm in Marion, Iowa for 55 years. We aren’t the Allen’s…but we love apples! Allen’s is committed to Agri-Education, the importance of teaching future generations about farming and animals. Our family invites you to come and enjoy our “little piece of heaven.” Pick your own apple right from the tree, have an apple slushie, and enjoy a yummy treat from our bakery.

Great Location

You do not need to leave Linn County to get orchard-fresh apples.  Allen’s is located in Marion, Iowa, just north of Lowe Park and Linn Mar High School.

Allen’s Orchard lets you pick the fruit straight from the trees.

 

More Than Just Apples

Allen’s Orchard has great apples, but we are actually most famous for our donuts! Throughout the growing season, Allen’s has many more products to choose from including pears, concord grapes, homemade pies, turnovers and crisp from our bakery, and a uniquely wonderful selection of items in our store.

  • A group of 5 of us went to Allen's yesterday for Apple picking, besides the weather being a bit humid, it couldn't have been more perfect. We all had an apple slushie, which were amazing!!!! We will definitely be back for the honeycrisps!!!

  • I went here with my 14 month old and some friends today. Very kid friendly, wonderful staff and delicious apples! The guy who did the hay-rack ride and narrated it, could tell he put lots of time into it! Very enjoyable place! Will definitely be going back!

  • Went here last year for my sons 4th birthday and it was so nice! Not too far from town, yet still feels like a great get away with the Family. We enjoyed picking the apples and eating all the special treats from the store!
